Moving Beyond Abuse

If you have experienced abuse in any form it has impacted your life. Most of us tend to minimize the damage, take on the abuser’s guilt, and hide from the pain. When we face the reality that we have been mistreated we can begin to heal. We can overcome harmful coping mechanisms such as denial, minimizing, hiding, and self-harm. Recovery is real and it is available to everyone. We can become bitter-or better-as we grow beyond the harm inflicted upon us. Survivors of abuse are some of the strongest people you will meet. Walk with me on your healing journey! I want to be there for you. Recovery study groups help survivors overcome the obstacles that hold them back and realize that they never have to walk alone.
